This one is gonna be short since the video pretty much explains it all! Enjoy the JWoodmedia.com edit of the Whiskey Garage Chronicles. As always, make sure to like and subscribe!
Put in the new RB28 stroker motor and got her dyno'd at Motiva. Sheered the timing ring off the harmonic balancer, and had to tear the entire front off the motor to get it fixed in time to make the show. On a positive note, got to put on my fresh Raw Brokerage, Performance fuel injection, Turbo by Garrett GTX35r and Turbosmart USA goodies on the car, so super pumped on that.
Upon arrival at TMS, we got a great run of practice, car felt amazing!!! My Hankook RS-3's were making tons of smoke and I was so pumped to get some more practice in. Second run up, 10 feet off the line, the car turned off, I had snapped a cam in two places :(
Scottie from Motiva, and Alex from NM Imports were godsends when it came to getting another head on the car on the quick! Scottie spent all night putting the new head on and it was being started as I was walking back from the drivers meeting.
I can't thank Scottie and Alex enough for the help getting to Texas and trying to keep me in the game. As always thanks to Jesse Wood for always being there.
